Andrew Jackson Hermitage
Andrew Jackson Hermitage is a Historical Mansion and Museum located in Tennessee.
I learned a lot of history by photographing the Andrew Jackson hermitage in Nashville Tennessee. At age 13, Andrew Jackson joined the American Revolution becoming an early patriot fighting against the British. At age 17, Jackson decided to become an attorney, where three years later, he got his license to practice law. Jackson was elected the General of the Tennessee Militia in 1802 becoming a war hero in the war of 1812, where he successfully defended New Orleans against a British attack and drove them out of Louisiana. In 1829, Andrew Jackson became our countries, 7th president. There is so much more history about Andrew Jackson at the Hermitage to see more here is a great link for you history buffs. I hope before you go you enjoy the pictures I took while there.

The top weapon is a standard-issue Calvary Sword designed to replace swords making it easier to use on horseback.
On the left is an English Dirk "short sword" captured in the Battle of New Orleans that was presented to Andrew Jackson.
One the right is a flintlock dueling pistol thought to be owned by a British officer.
