I can't help but be amazed at how nature has created so many varieties with so many colors. I get asked all the time why I carry so much heavy camera gear. It's simple if I don't have the right equipment available I will not get the photographs I want.

Osprey on alert

Another shot this time looking at the Osprey nest the female heard the alert from her mate and was suddenly on alert.

She kept that piercing eye on me making sure I did not get any closer to her nest Trust me, you do not want an Osprey coming at you with that powerful beak or them powerful talons. This shot was next to the Koocanusa Bridge in MT.
